'Lāse' is an extremely rare Latvian plum variety, valued for its large to very large, amber-yellow fruits with a very good, sweet, and aromatic flavour. It is characterized by a good and regular yield, early entry into bearing, and good resistance to frost and diseases. Thanks to its late and abundant flowering, the tree is also decorative.
