Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) 'Tudor'
Early variety from Romanian-American collaboration with attractive red fruits.
'Tudor' is the result of successful cooperation between the Romanian station SCDP Constanța and Rutgers University in the USA. It is an early variety that impresses mainly with the attractive appearance of its fruits, which are largely covered with a carmine-red blush. It is suitable for growers looking for visually appealing fruit at the beginning of the season.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Attractive appearance (2/3 of the surface is red).
- Early ripening (end of June).
- Very good, sweet-sour taste.
- Tolerance to major diseases.
