Cherry (Prunus avium) 'Regina'

Late dark crisp cherry with large fruits resistant to cracking.

'Regina' is one of the highest quality and most sought-after late cherry varieties. It is popular for its large, dark red fruits with excellent taste, which do not crack even in rainy weather. Thanks to late flowering, it escapes spring frosts, ensuring a regular and rich harvest even in cooler regions.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • High resistance to fruit cracking.
  • Large to very large heart-shaped fruits.
  • Late flowering (flowers do not freeze).
  • Firm, crisp, and aromatic flesh.
  • Suitable for higher altitudes and cooler areas.
