- Actinidia arguta 'Domino' is a kiwi variety originating from Asia. This kiwi species has large fruits with a smooth green-brown skin. It is suitable for both home and commercial cultivation.
- It grows vigorously and is a climbing plant-liana, therefore it requires support. Its annual growth can reach up to 2 meters.
- It is a cross-pollinating variety, female, and requires a male counterpart for pollination. The most suitable pollinator is a male of the Actinidia Arguta Weiki M variety.
- It blooms in May-June and yields fruits in September-October. The fruits are large, weighing 12-16g, larger than other mini kiwis. The shape of the fruit is spherical-oval. The color of the fruits is green-brown.
- The taste of Actinidia arguta 'Domino' is excellent, aromatic, and very sweet. It is suitable for direct consumption or processing. The fruits contain many vitamins and minerals.
- A slightly shaded location is best for cultivating this variety. It does not favor strong drafts. The soil can be slightly acidic, well-draining, nutrient-rich, and adequately moist. It does not like to dry out.
- It is pruned similarly to vines. The shoots bloom and bear fruit on two-year-old wood.
- This variety is highly frost-resistant and undemanding to cultivate. It is not prone to fungal diseases or pests.
