Intense red Red Chief mutation with spur growth habit.
'Sandidge' is a popular American apple variety discovered by Charles R. Sandidge as a mutation of 'Red Chief'. It is known for its typical spur character (weak, compact growth), making it ideal for high-density plantings. The fruits are attractive, deep red, and have a sweet, slightly tart taste.
