Romanian autumn variety with pear-shaped fruits and intense aroma.

'Aromate' is a Romanian quince variety developed at the SCDP Târgu Jiu station by selecting from the popular variety ‘Bereczki’. It is sought after for its pear-shaped fruits, which have a low content of stone cells in the flesh and are characterized by a very strong, pleasant aroma.

• Flesh: White-yellow, crisp, relatively juicy. Contains only a small amount of stone cells.
