'Danuta' is an attractive French seedless table grape variety. It appeals to growers primarily with its huge clusters (often up to 1 kg) and very pleasant, crispy flesh. It is a vigorously growing variety, ideal for cultivation on pergolas and trellises, where it shows its full potential.

Vine

• Vigor: Medium strong to strong (vigorous). Climbing plant, grows up to 5 m.
• Shoots: Long, sensitive to wind (require careful tying).
• Pruning: Requires long pruning and leaf removal in the cluster zone for better coloration.

Fruit (Cluster and Berry)

• Clusters: Very large (average 600 g, up to 800 – 1000 g), long, conical, less compact.
• Berries: Medium size, ovoid. Seedless.
• Color: Yellow-green to light golden.
• Flesh and Taste: Firm, crispy. The taste is pleasantly sweet, with a subtle nutty-almond aroma. Skin is thin.
• Usage: Excellent table grape for fresh consumption.

Resistance and Requirements

• Frost resistance: Down to -20 °C.
• Diseases: Moderately susceptible to powdery and downy mildew (protection required). Low susceptibility to grey rot.
