Variety Characteristics

Vine

• Vigor: Own-rooted vines grow very vigorously (growing on rootstocks is recommended).
• Pruning: The fertility of basal buds is low, therefore long pruning is required. Thinning of inflorescences is usually not necessary.

Fruit (Cluster and Berry)

• Clusters: Large (approx. 400 g), conical, medium dense.
• Berries: Medium size (approx. 3 g), oval. Seedless.
• Color: Yellow-green.
• Flesh and Taste: Slightly crispy. Taste is harmonious, with a subtle muscat aroma. Sugar content at harvest approx. 16%.
• Usage: Ideal for fresh consumption (local use).

Resistance and Requirements

• Cracking and Sunburn: Berries do not crack and do not suffer from sunburn (small brown spots may appear upon prolonged direct sun exposure).
• Diseases: Medium sensitivity to the fungus Botryodiplodia theobromae (attacks the wood).

Cultivation Recommendations

• Agrotechnics: To increase berry size, mechanical thinning (removal of a portion of the young cluster after flowering) is recommended. The application of gibberellin (GA-3) is not recommended.

Harvest and Storage

• Ripening time: Early variety.
• Harvest: Requires timely harvest. If overripe, there is a risk of berries dropping and loss of attractive color (browning).
• Storage: Poor. Not suitable for long-term storage and long transport.
