- The standard delivery time is 2-3 working days. - We always ship parcels on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. - By arrangement, we can also ship plants on Thursdays or Fridays (we do not normally ship on these days in case there is a problem so that the parcels are not left in the depot unnecessarily over the weekend).

The Ukrainian variety of dogwood UGOLYOK , has pear-shaped, almost black fruits.
The large-fruited dogwood has an interesting growth, in the first year it can have increments of up to 50cm , but the older it gets, the slower it grows. It is ideal for growing in our area , but also tolerates higher altitudes. It grows upright.
Dogwook is partially self-pollinating, but for a good crop and large fruit it is advisable to have a pollinator in the form of another variety.
Flowering starts in March, it has a large panicle of flowers. The flower tolerates spring frosts well.
The fruits are very dark, almost black, up to 5,5-6g in size. There is a stone in the centre. The shape of the fruit is pear-shaped. The taste is refreshing, sweet and sour, aromatic. It is suitable for making jams, fruit wines, pickling.
The fruit of the dogwood is ideal for direct consumption, it contains many vitamins, minerals, anthocyanin dyes and polyphenols. Adequate watering is needed when the fruit ripens. They can also be boiled to make juices, jams or liqueurs. They can be stored for about a month without loss of quality. They have medicinal properties and are recommended for people with blood pressure problems.
The fruit ripens in September, which is why it is one of the medium-early varieties.
The variety is very prolific.
The cultivation of dogwoods is undemanding. A harvest can be expected in the first year after planting.
They do not require pruning, but shaping pruning is possible. Dogwoods root shallowly, so regular watering is advisable. It is recommended to fertilise with potassium as the leaves dry.
