- The yellow everbearing Golden Queen variety of raspberry is suitable for home growers.
- The plant has healthy shoots , up to 150cm high. It grows strongly, upright. It has fine thorns.
- It fruits once a year on biennial shoots from June to autumn.
- The fruits are large, tasty, yellow-orange, shiny and round . They have an excellent sweet taste and a distinctive aroma and are easy to pick.
- Golden Queen raspberries are suitable for direct consumption or freezing.
- It prefers a sunny position or partial shade, the soil should be slightly moist and permeable.
- Raspberries should be planted close to a support to ensure they are easy to pick.
- We also recommend making a root barrier so it doesn't grow too much where you don't want it.
- This variety of raspberry is hardy, and not susceptible to disease. It is lower to shoot dieback.
- It is therefore suitable for growing without chemical protection.
