A Russian autumn variety with excellent flavour and exceptional scab resistance.
'Dessertnaya Rossoshanskaya' (Десертная Россошанская) is a proven Russian autumn pear variety, created by crossing ‘Bere zimnyaya Michurina’ and ‘Lesnaya krasavitsa’. It is valued for its high fruit quality, excellent dessert, sweet flavour, and exceptional resistance to scab. It is also characterized by an early entry into bearing and a good, regular yield.
