Old Transylvanian variety suitable for diabetics with extreme storage life.
'Poinic' is a very old, autochthonous (native) variety originating from Romanian Transylvania (Mureș River Valley). It is prized for its vigor, high yield, and fruits which, due to their specific sugar composition, are recommended for diabetics. It is a rustic variety that excels in extraordinary storage capabilities – keeping fresh in standard conditions until spring.
