'CIVG198' (known under the trade name 'Modì®') is a modern Italian apple variety created by crossing 'Gala' and 'Liberty'. It combines excellent taste (rated better than 'Gala'), attractive dark red appearance, and resistance to Scab. It is also suitable for high-density plantings.

Fruit
