Plum (Prunus domestica) 'Tophit®'
Very late self-fertile variety with huge fruits and high sugar content.
'Tophit®' is a modern German plum variety (cross of 'Cacanska Najbolja' × 'President') that ranks among the absolute best. It is valued for its huge fruits, high and early yield, and tolerance to Sharka. It ripens very late, extending the fresh plum season into October.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Huge fruits (up to 75 g) with high market value.
- Self-fertility and high yield.
- Very late ripening (end of September).
- Excellent sweet taste and juicy flesh.

Variety Characteristics
Tree
- Vigor: Medium strong, crown semi-upright to round.
- Yield: Very early onset, yields are very large and regular (tendency to alternate bearing if overcropped).
- Flowering: Early.
Fruit
- Size and Weight: Very large (up to 75 g).
- Shape and Color: Round-oval to elongated, asymmetrical. Dark blue skin with a purple blush and bloom.
- Flesh: Yellow-green, firm, very juicy. Separates well from the stone.
